Applications are open to Charlevoix County Residents
To save you time, we have listed some things below that will help you move forward with us. We have listed the documents we need you to bring when you meet with us along with a list of particular needs that we are NOT able to help with. Requirements:

A current Driver's License or State ID will be needed.

A copy of the actual late bill, Notice to Vacate, or lease agreement/Move-In Letter will be needed.

A completed intake form is needed. This is available on location. Please arrive 5 minutes early to complete this form.

You must be a resident of Charlevoix County to qualify for assistance.

Unfortunately, if your utilities have already been shut off, we are unable to help. You can still call us and we may be able to steer you to an organization that can help.​

We are unable to help with the repairs of vehicles or other modes of transportation.

Please note that if you are a return applicant who has applied for assistance within the prior 12 months of your current request, you might not be eligible for further assistance until 12 months from your last assistance. Please call our office to determine eligibility.
